We're a band collectively called KTFB. The acronym 'KTFB' stands for both 'Kiss The Floor Babe' and 'Kyle, Thomas, Frankie, Bryan'. We are 4 ardent music aficionados who favor punk rock music. Our musical styles are a fusion of R.E.P- Rock, Emo, Punk and Pop.
Band history
We started off as a band on the August of 2009. There was this annual dinner thingy in school and 4 of us decided to perform as a group. We didn't start as a band at first, it was more like a foursome performance rather than a band. But we did eventually, with all 4 of us agreeing to the idea aforementioned. We made our debut on the 23rd of August at the Armada Hotel, with the song 21 Guns from Green Day. Our band name was born on the exact same day too! We didn't have a name for our group at first. Cause we were too busy practicing and didn't bother about the band name. On that day itself, all of us arrived at the hotel a few hours before the dinner started. 4 of us were busy making last-minute touch ups in the VIP room, and arrived late at the ballroom when the dinner had already started. All the tables were occupied, and we didn't have a place to seat! Right at this moment, Kyle thought of a name called 'Kiss The Floor Babe' ( to kiss the floor cause there aren't any more seats available), in accordance with the acronym of our initials, Kyle,Thomas,Frankie,Bryan. The name remains as our band name till now. We ended up sitting at the back of the hall, while waiting for our turn to perform.
The resulting debut, which received positive response and feedback, droved 4 of us to carry on as a band, with the current lineup of consisting of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Kyle, lead guitarist Thomas, bassist Frankie, and drummer Bryan. On October 2009, we have Kayne as our cameraman, who accompanies the band to each and every jamming session at Akarkarya Studio. He holds the camera for all of our song covers.
Musical Styles and Influences
Our stuff is a fusion of Rock, Emo, Punk and Pop, which we self-proclaim as R.E.P. Currently, we are still experimenting on these genres, trying to make an unusual but unique mash-up. Our main influences come from Green Day, Foo Fighters, Sum 41, Jonas Brothers, Simple Plan and more. We usually pick their material as a part of our list of cover projects.

Future Prospects
We hope to start writing our own material as soon as possible, as well as performing more often in live gigs. Currently we are trying to conceive an idea on how to break into the alternative rock/pop-punk/punk-rock scene here in Malaysia, with all the Malaysian culture and way of thinking. This holds a very important chunk of our originality. -REP
